Adult Enterprise, is a not-for-profit social enterprise that has been set up to share a national entrepreneurship curriculum that includes a unitised qualification framework, curriculum training materials and a hosted learning platform so that local providers can provide high quality entrepreneurship skills training to enable individuals to create, launch and grow sustainable new businesses.

Adult Enterprise have mapped the learning journeys of potential entrepreneurs who come from a variety of backgrounds and with a variety of motivations across 7 learning journeys (business startup, from passion to profit, social enterprise, social media and networking, e-commerce, from benefits to enterprise and English for Speakers of Other Languages and enterprise.

Adult learners are keen to start and grow their businesses and  gain the skills they need.

Potential adult entrepreneurs will come from a variety of vocational areas and from a variety of backgrounds.  Our qualifications are designed to be flexible and meet the needs of all learners.

In 2012/13 Adult Enterprise is working with 34 Local Authorities and FE Colleges to provide an entrepreneurship curriculum to assist individuals and local communities gain the skills to run a business. We are seeking new providers to join us in 2013/14.
